Batman Star Adam West to Appear at Dallas Comic Con

Adam West will make an appearance at the Dallas Comic Con, starting May 19 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas.

West, whose most recent gig involves voicing the town mayor -- conveniently named Adam West -- in "Family Guy," will attend both days of the event along side Burt Ward, the actor who played Robin in the 1966 "Batman" TV series.

The 83-year-old actor last week received a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, making him the 2,468th recipient of the studded award.

Other attendees at the convention include Patrick Stewart, Val Kilmer, Dave Prowse and Peter Mayhew. But unlike Kilmer and others who have downed the black cape and cowl, West breaks the Guinness world record for playing Batman the most at 156.

Convention tickets run for $20 on Saturday and $15 on Sunday if you buy online.
